Our pickleball court is immersed in the tropical rainforest. We will have hours of daily court time. Players will be grouped according to skill level for our open plays. Multiple clinics will be offered for those who wish to participate.

Freshly prepared chef cooked meals utilizing organic produce, local organic pasture -raised meats and fresh fish caught daily from our local fishermen.

Majestic sunsets, tide pools, howler monkeys, iguanas, old growth mango trees — this is a nature lover's paradise. Enjoy your morning coffee while gazing at the ocean, or lounge in the hammock watching the sunset.
All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. The open teak deck is outfitted with plenty of seating and hammocks for lounging, embodying the villa's indoor/outdoor vibe.

Our retreat is located at a private beach front villa, in the heart of the Blue Zone, Nosara Costa Rica. We are steps away from the tide pools and world class surfing.

This particular pickleball retreat is not suitable for people with no prior pickleball experience. We suggest players be in the 2.0 - 5.0 range and we will divide the groups accordingly to skill level so everyone can enjoy play at their level. For those with advanced skill level challenging games with local players can be arranged.

Our boutique retreats are intentionally intimate. Our July 2026 retreat is capped at 14 guests. Future retreats may vary by location, with a maximum of 18. We pride ourselves on the extraordinary hospitality each guest receives. This is one of the features that sets Paraíso apart from other pickleball retreats.

One thing that sets us apart from other Pickleball retreats is the quality of our food! All of our produce is sourced from organic farms! The meats we serve are sourced from a local organic farmer with grass- fed animals grazing on open pasture and the fish caught same day by our neighbors! We do not use any seed-oils in our cooking, and will cater to any dietary needs of our guests.

The retreat we are offering includes a sunset catamaran tour, waterfall hike and your choice of a surf lesson, SUP or kayaking in mangroves, Horseback riding or ATV tour to waterfall. Additional tours that may be booked for an extra fee are Zip-lining, ATV tours to coffee farm, fishing or visits to wildlife refuge.

We suggest flying into the Liberia, Costa Rica airport. (Daniel Oduber Quirós International) airport code (LIR) We offer roundtrip shuttles from the Liberia airport for our retreats.

Yes! We love working with private groups to curate the perfect personalized retreat! Whether it be a pickleball club, coach, association, a group of friends or family, we are the partner you are looking for to provide your dream event!
Cancellation & Refund Policy
We understand that life happens. If you need to cancel your reservation, the following policy applies:
More than 90 days prior to retreat start date — Full refund, less a $150 administrative fee
60–90 days prior — 50% refund
30–60 days prior — 25% refund
Less than 30 days prior — No refund
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to Kelli@paraisopickleball.com and are effective the date received.
Transfers Can't make it? You're welcome to transfer your spot to another guest at no charge up to 30 days before the retreat. Transfers requested within 30 days of the retreat are subject to a $100 transfer fee. The incoming guest must complete all registration paperwork prior to the retreat start date.
No-Shows Guests who do not arrive on the retreat start date without prior written notice forfeit 100% of their payment.
Travel Insurance We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment. Paraíso Pickleball is not responsible for cancellations due to illness, injury, travel disruptions, or other circumstances outside our control. A quick Google search for "travel insurance" will surface plenty of options — World Nomads and Allianz are two well-regarded providers worth looking at.
Retreat Cancellation by Paraíso Pickleball In the unlikely event we must cancel the retreat, all guests will receive a full refund within 14 business days. Paraíso Pickleball is not responsible for non-refundable travel expenses, which is another reason we recommend travel insurance.
